Clinical Program Manager/Clinical Research Associate jobs, Nairobi

An international HIV/AIDS research organization is looking for experienced professionals for the following positions:-

Clinical Program Manager/Clinical Research Associate – dependent on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Manage clinical trials and epidemiology studies according to Good Clinical Practice Standards
  
• Manage the clinical operations of Clinical Trials to ensure protocols and study related activities are conducted in compliance with ICH GCP guidelines;
• Provide support and technical assistance to Clinical Trial sites;
• Ensure study approvals and documentation are maintained;
• Other related activities as required

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelors degree in a Science field (e.g. Biological or Physical sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy etc). Advanced degree desirable.
• Minimum of 3 years work experience in clinical research management (5 years for manager position).
• Experience of management of multiple Clinical Trials at multiple sites.
• Experience working with Contract Research Organisations.
• Experience in monitoring Clinical Trials
• Knowledge and proficiency in GCP, ICH guidelines and regulatory procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Computer skills with knowledge of MS Word, Excel and e-mail
• Knowledge and experience in HIV medicine an advantage
• 40% estimated travel required.

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
